          Contenido expandible

Feels solid and has more power than my smaller one

Waited about a week before writing this so I could actually try it out. So far I’m happy with it. I’ve been using it for some heavier jobs around the car, including taking wheels off and putting them back on. It feels more powerful than the smaller impact tool I already had.

It has some weight to it, but I wouldn’t call it overly heavy. Mostly it just feels solid and well built in my hand. The batteries also work with my other tool, which is convenient. I ended up keeping both tools together in one case.

Still early to say how it holds up long term, but my first impression is good.

          Good design good quality

This is such a useful tool for some simple car maintenance jobs. Good design, the weight is ok. More accessible to some narrow space. Save me a lot of energy.

          Much needed right angle wrench

This right angle wrench seems to have a lot of power and is heavy duty. I appreciate that it comes with 2 batteries and a solid case. When the battery is on it, the trigger is well balanced to get it in place. It’s easy to reach down in some of the tighter places, and the light is helpful to see in dark areas so you don’t also have to hold a flashlight. Overall this is a great tool to add to my garage.

Handy tool with a good bit of power

This Impact Wrench pack a good bit of power.

The build quality is apparently the same plastic as the majority of modern power tools, and appears unbreakable. The proprietary battery charges from a wall charger, and though yellow, is not the same as some other 20v tools I have used. The wrench ships with two batteries and the necessary charger. They were fully charged when I received the shipment. Batteries are not particularly heavy.

I like that the batteries, charger, and wrench fit in the included, tough polyethylene tool box.

I like the impact function and the power delivery. I tested this tool against the power of a manual Craftsman speed wrench. I use a speed wrench to lower the jacks on my camper and raise it up to level. Since I had the camper set up and level, the manual speed wrench was already maxed out, and I could barely turn it further by hand. Further lifting would have been with a 4-way cross wrench and two hands.

I set the impact wrench to max with a 3/4" socket, and applied it to the jacks. The impact wrench was able to achieve several more turns on the jacks than the speed wrench before it chattered. It never actually stalled. And it never took more wrist pressure than I could handle. By comparison, my top model cordless 1/2" impact drill could not raise the camper any further, and was a real wrist breaker while achieving nothing.

The impact wrench instructions indicate the cordless wrench must be operated with one hand on the main grip area. The battery extends several inches from the back, and I feel it would be tempting to hold the battery to apply more torque.

The feel of the tool is solid. The rotational speed is acceptable. The impact chatters as it should, though not as hard hitting as a high-pressure air tool.

Overall, I find this is a good quality tool. As a DIYer, this is a useful tool that will stay in the work area.

The best cordless ratchet wrench deal on Alloyman

Within one day of receiving the ALLOYPOWER cordless ratchet wrench, it has become my second favorite hand tool next to my impact wrench. First, it packs more power at the price point then the similarly priced name brand options. In fact, I didn't see a competitor that can offer 60 ft lbs of torque that comes with sockets, a case and two batteries. Second, I was doing a belt job and it was exhausting hand cranking the tensioner nut for the compressor belt (my car has three belts). It typically took me a couple minutes and sore shoulder due to limited space and slow tightening. I used this cordless ratchet and fell in love when it tighten the tensioner so fast I could see it moving forward. Lastly, a lot of the other options offered either a short head or extra $$$ for an extended one. This option has the best of both worlds, not too long and not too short. For a DIY mechanic, this is a must have hand tool that will save you a sore back and shoulder trying to crank nuts from the ground.

Works as expected but lacks common features

I've only had a chance to use this ratchet briefly but it worked just fine. It's quite heavy compared to other brands but those brands are easily 2x-5x more expensive. The only real complaint I have is the lack of battery charge progress. When a battery is connected to the charger there's no indication of how much it has charged or if it's done other than pressing and holding the battery level button on the battery. A small issue of course but worth noting.

21V 3/8" Cordless Ratchet Wrench Kit

This cordless 3/8" ratchet is battery powered unlike your standard cordless ratchet you may have been using for may years that just had a chrome handle. The description indicated that it contained 2 batteries, however my set only contained one so be sure to read the description carefully and compare to what you receive. It comes in your standard made in china blow molded case that provides ample storage and protection. The included sockets do not stay put when closed and will soon fall out and rattle around in the case. The tool itself appears to be well made and provides ample torque and speed for this type of tool. This is more of a full sized tool compared to the sub compact versions out there. Once you use a battery operated ratchet you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner. This particular no name brand is priced much less than the big name brands.

          Satisfied

At the price point ($109.99 on sale) I'm satisfied. It is useful for tight spots. Like others have said, I don't believe it has 40 ft. lbs. of torque. It would not remove some nuts that had been torques to 33 ft. lbs. I think the torque is more like 15 ft. lbs. I would buy it again at $109.99 but not at the list price of $99.

          Decent package for the price.

I think the torque is a little bit over estimated, but once you get things loosened up it does OK.

Does the Work But Avoid Heavy

Been using for about 6 months now and it is showing age. Starting to smell burnt and throwing sparks. I might use it more heavily than your weekend warrior but expected it to last long than this. The first clue of quality was the bag of cheap sockets that came with it. Bit it still works and will run it till it completely burns up.

          As advertised

I received a damaged and repackaged wrench. The forward reverse lever would turn but not engage. It looked like someone used pliers on it. I got with company direct and they sent me a new tool minus the battery. New one works as advertised. Battery seems to last. Price is a little high but I figured that when I bought it. I would probably buy it again.

          Great buy for the money

I bought this to help myself with car repairs. It does its job. I wish it had a little more power but I will not complain. Makes it easier for those hard to reach places and no more busted knuckles loosening a bolt.

Very good for the $$, Surprising battery life.

I am very pleased with this item so far. It doesnt have the feel / weight of the Milwaukee but its way cheaper and good for most work that a 3/8 drive ratchet would be used for. Plesently surprised.

          Very good for the money.

Ok, the torque specs are not accurate at 40 ft/lbs but that's what the traditional ratchet is for, right? For the money, this a great medium use tool, especially for automotive work. It broke and drove rusted skid plate bolts on my truck just fine. If you want a tool to break and drive and torque all in one get a 90 degree impact wrench. I think this tool is performed perfectly for it's price point.

          Love this!

After using this ratchet, I don't think I'll work on a car without another electric ratchet. Its just so convenient for the tight spaces you need to reach into. This specific ratchet could use some more torque on a few bolts I had to deal with when changing an alternator. But I was able to start those with my typical socket wrench / breaker bar and finish it off with this.

Again could use more torque, but for the price range this wasn't unexpected.

          21volt, more power than expected.

I ended up getting the 21volt one because I bought my friend a 20V ac Delco brand one and I liked that one after using it but wanted to get one. Since it was rated a little higher on torque. So I found this one with 71ftlb of torque. Compared to the 40ft lb's of torque the AC Delco had. And honestly this one surprised me when I was working on a few things. I was expecting to have to break the bolts free first. I didn't have to with this one as it broke them free with its own power. Battery's charge fast, and I like the case that came with it. Definitely would recommend as a gift or something for anyone who does mechanic work.
